India-Pakistan May Re-Start Cricket Test Series

BARODA: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and its counterpart in Pakistan have been exploring the possibility of reviving the bilateral Test series, according to BCCI Joint Secretary, JY Lele.

"The response of Pakistani officials was very encouraging," Lele said.

Lele, who returned from London, June 20 night after attending the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting, said that he along with BCCI President Raj Singh Dungarpur met President and Secretary of the Pakistan Cricket Board and discussed the possibility of restarting the tours between the two countries.

He said to begin with, tours of under 19 (years) teams could be held and later the national squads could meet. (PTI)
